Whilst some of our clients instruct us for the design-only aspect of their home, we love seeing our designs brought to life in the weeks and months after completing their design brief.

This weekend we visited the WOW!House showhouse at the Chelsea Harbour Design Centre and were amazed by the breath-taking collection of designed rooms.

June has been a busy month for the whole team, and we are delighted to have welcomed Sophie on board to assist with our upcoming projects too! With two project renovations commencing this month, snagging completed at another, and three design projects instructed, the team have been hard at work!

Project Rugosa in Woking is a full first floor renovation, which begun in June. The full floor renovation has a scope to include two new bathrooms, moving some internal wall structures to re-align spaces, full re-floor, intricate new wiring and beautiful bespoke furniture throughout.

May has seen the team designing for a variety of homes and styles across Surrey. We have impending start dates in early June for our Rugosa and Woodham projects in Woking, and design finalisations for our Dorking, Merrow and Epsom projects.

April was a whirlwind month for Surrey Home Interiors, filled with excitement and a flurry of activities. We've made remarkable progress and taken significant steps towards our vision of creating exceptional interior spaces.

Celebrating three new instructions for April, we are excited to begin the design works for these stunning properties in the coming months. Including a sweet two bedroom mews house, ready to be converted into a three-bed AirBnB, a characterful Edwardian style property and a beautiful period property!

March has been a particularly busy month, with a consistent flow of new and existing projects underway and moving forwards, and an array of projects in the planning stages of their design and renovation.

We are delighted to have completed the design for our Avenue Road project in Farnborough! Undertaking the design works for the whole house, we have also organised a variety of works, including decorating, panelling and bespoke furniture.

Halfway through our Cobbett’s Hill project, and we’re making great progress against the planned schedule. With the bathrooms prepped and tiled, and the majority of decorating works now complete, we’re ready to start laying the beautiful new flooring, hang wallpaper and commence deliveries of furniture!

February has seen us commence works at Cobbett’s Hill and make great progress throughout the project, ahead of our original schedule. With the first fix electrics completed and decorating works well underway, the bathroom removals and refits commence in early March!

Adding another stunning development to the portfolio, Rushmon Homes bring nine new homes to Leatherhead in their latest development, Queen’s Court. Given the opportunity of designing and staging their two bedroom show house, we were delighted to undertake the work again for Rushmon.

Day one of a project is always a very exciting day, and we love those first few hours on site, when everything finally starts pulling into place. After months of designing, weeks of planning and endless hours checking every aspect of our designs, we can finally begin to unveil the vision in real life.

2023 has been a show-stopping month for us. With our Cobbett’s Hill project ready to begin, and several other projects well underway, we’re in full swing of 2023 already, and even more exciting projects on the horizon.

January has us back in full swing on the design-front, with an influx of amazing projects coming our way! Delighted with how powerful word of mouth can be for a small business, we are thrilled to have been awarded several projects already this year; and all from our lovely clients spreading our name!

Starting 2023 with a range of exciting designs and progression across various projects, we are delighted to announce that we have secured approval for the planning permission for our long-standing project in Woking. In addition, the design work is pulling to completion for our Springwood Weybridge project.

After several months of phased installation works following nearly a year of curating the truly bespoke and one-of-a-kind design for our lovely long-standing client in Motts Hill, their beautiful Art Deco-inspired bedroom has been completed! We cannot wait to share the full case study following photography in January, but in the meantime here’s a tiny sneak peak!

We’d like to wish all of our lovely clients, our wonderful suppliers and hard-working tradesmen and tradeswomen a very Merry Christmas. Having run Surrey Home Interiors for nearly two years alongside another role, I finally took the plunge in early 2022 to run the business full time, and I cannot be more thankful for the support, the love and the custom from every person that has helped us grow so quickly.

With 2023 just around the corner, and Christmas fast approaching, we are frequently being asked about the upcoming trends for the coming year. As a design studio that proudly curates timeless design, we do take trends into consideration when designing projects, but we design around a timeless base, that will be on trend for years to come.

October has been a busy month across both the design and project management areas of the business. Bringing our Epsom renovation project to a close, as well as being instructed on six new design and PM projects, we are currently planning early 2023!
