Whilst the word ‘designer’ is quite definitive in itself, our roles as Interior Designers (and Project Managers) is much much broader. The design industry is so creative, open and inspiring, and our jobs as Designers is to bring together a vast array of finishes, elements, colours, textures and pieces that all work beautifully together, around a client’s own personal tastes.

Decorex is always a delight to attend. Out of all the trade shows that the industry successfully hosts, Decorex is one of our favourites. From elegant wallcoverings to statement lighting design, it hosts an array of stunning manufacturers that consistently inspire the industry and us as designers.

September has seen us complete the installation of a beautiful cinema room for one of our long-standing clients, as well as various design projects at different stages. We’ve also been all hands on deck at our Mynns renovation in Epsom too, a 7-week full renovation.

We are delighted to introduce Rosie, who will be joining SHI as our in-house Design and Projects Assistant. You will start seeing Rosie pop up during projects to assist us in delivering design to our clients. Rosie brings a wealth of design experience and creative flair to the SHI team. Having met during our studies, Rosie and I quickly realised our combined strengths, and when the business grew, it was inevitable that Rosie would be the perfect candidate to help us grow as a company.

August has been unexpectedly busy this year, seeing us win five design projects to complete this year. With another two projects completed this month, two projects that have been extended, and two upcoming renovations, we are delighted to announce that we have added to the SHI team! We are delighted to have completed the design for our Merrow project in Merrow Woods! Undertaking the design works for the ground floor, we organised several showroom visits to assist our clients in picking a style and theme for their transformed home.

July has been our busiest month yet; working on design for various properties throughout Surrey. With two projects completed this month, twelve instructed and three upcoming renovations, we are expanding the team to rise up to the challenge over the coming few months!

We are delighted to have completed on our Reigate project! Our client, Louisa approached us earlier this year shortly before she was about to complete on her new home in Reigate. Seeking a design and project management service, we were delighted to be awarded the opportunity to renovate her 70s-decorated home.

Today marks two years since our incorporation! In these two years, as a team we have had so many achievements to be incredibly proud of, and so many more yet to come. We also deemed it about time that we create a news section to our website, too!
