Trends for 2023, and beyond

With 2023 just around the corner, and Christmas fast approaching, we are frequently being asked about the upcoming trends for the coming year. As a design studio that proudly curates timeless design, we do take trends into consideration when designing projects, but we design around a timeless base, that will be on trend for years to come.

Wanting our clients to love their home for the next ten years plus, it is our mission to design a scheme that will be cherished and look freshly designed for many years, encouraging them to accessorise in subtle ways that is easily updated as trends do come and go.

To me, good design is perceived when you can’t recognise when the design has been completed. Giving clients the knowledge and support to change their accessories within a scheme is key to ensure that they love their home for years to come, without it feeling dated or off-trend.
— Rebecca Winter
Something we are already starting to see become incredibly popular is earthly tones, natural materials and organic cured forms. This is definitely a design trend that we will see in the coming year - and years to come. Each help to create a warm and textural space, allowing you to feel completely connected to your home.

We spend so much time in our homes that gone are the days of all-grey, sterile interiors, and we are craving something much more welcoming and connected to nature.

We are also really starting to see people move away from all light wood tones which have been super popular in recent years. In design, we are seeing a lot more mid to deep-wood tones being used.

It may seem like the right thing to do to stick to one wood tone throughout your home, but it can leave a space feeling a little flat. Mixing the correct wood tones can help create a space full of depth and interest

We’ll shortly be posting a review of some of our predictions for 2023’s key trends, which we will subtly introduce into various projects, I’m sure!
