Month in review: november 2024

As we wrap up another exciting month at Rebecca Winter Design Studio, we're excited to share some highlights from November as our studio continues to grow!

First a HUGE announcement. I am pleased to announce that we are award winners for Best Residential Interior Design in London, on our renovation project Portmore! This is such a proud moment for the RWDS team and we are so grateful to be commended amongst such talented designers. To have been placed in the top three in London is such a pinch me moment and I couldn’t be more proud of the growth our design studio has seen over these past few months.

We kicked off the month by hosting an Artists Open House Evening at our studio to give back to the community and celebrate local creativity! The evening proved to be a tremendous success, featuring an impressive collection of works from talented local artists and a great turn out of guests. Thank you to everyone who attended, we hope you enjoyed yourself and left feeling inspired. This marks our second event at the RWDS studio and we couldn’t be more proud! We are already planning our next one for the start of 2025, so make sure to keep an eye out for the announcement.

We are also proud to announce the completion of the Portmore project, where we successfully transformed a large bedroom with ensuite into two children's bedrooms and a family bathroom. Through careful space planning and innovative design solutions, we were able to maximize both the functionality and aesthetic appeal of the space, delivering an adorable nursery and results that exceeded our clients' expectations.

The design team also expanded their expertise through an informative visit to Future Light Design's state-of-the-art studio. We had a fantastic evening learning the fundamentals and importance of light design from the team, and look forward to collaborating in the future! If you are ever in East Horsley make sure to visit their studio, it is absolutely fantastic and I promise it will WOW you (and then you can pop into visit us just down the road!)

Finally, we're excited to announce that November has brought us 11 exciting, new projects! RWDS is growing rapidly and our dedicated designers are hard at work. We’re already seeing promising developments take shape, and we can’t wait to share more updates next month!
